In U.S. bombing attacks on Afghanistan from October 7, 2001 through March 2002 at least 2,700 - 3,000 Afghan innocent civilians were killed, proportionately equivalent to a U.S. death toll of eleven World Trade Center attacks. In Iraq, non-U.S. government sources estimate that some 100,000 civilians have been killed in U.S. bombing, missile and ground attacks since the war's commencement – equivalent to a proportional U.S. death toll of 1.2 million people.
